Privacy Policy

We handle your information with the same care we bring to every home. Here’s exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

How it works

Anointed Professional Helpers, Inc.— Last updated May 2026

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you submit a care request, create an account, or contact us. This includes:

  • Contact information— your name, email address, and phone number.
  • Care request details— the name, age, and care needs of the person you are requesting care for.
  • Usage data— pages visited, time on site, referring URL, and browser type, collected automatically via server logs and analytics tools.
  • Cookies— small text files stored on your device to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. See Section 6 for details.

We do not collect sensitive financial information (credit card numbers) directly; payments are processed by our PCI-compliant payment partner.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Match you with a qualified care helper and coordinate ongoing care services.
  • Communicate with you about your care request, scheduling, and account status.
  • Send service-related notices such as care plan updates, billing summaries, and policy changes.
  • Improve our website, identify technical issues, and understand how visitors use our services.
  • Comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

3. HIPAA Compliance

Anointed Professional Helpers, Inc. is a covered entity under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). All protected health information (PHI) related to the individuals in our care is handled in strict accordance with HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules.

  • Care records, health assessments, and care plans are classified as PHI and stored in HIPAA-compliant systems with end-to-end encryption.
  • Access to PHI is restricted to employees and contractors with a direct need to know, governed by signed Business Associate Agreements (BAAs).
  • Our HIPAA compliance program is reviewed and audited annually by an independent third party.

To exercise your HIPAA rights — including the right to access or amend your PHI — contact our Privacy Officer at hello@anointedhelpers.com.

4. Information Sharing

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Your care team— helpers, coordinators, and supervising nurses directly involved in providing your care.
  • Service providers— vendors who operate under strict confidentiality agreements and process data only on our behalf (e.g., scheduling software, secure messaging platforms).
  • Legal requirements— when required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our clients, employees, or the public.
  • Business transfers— if Anointed Professional Helpers is acquired or merges with another entity, your information may transfer as part of that transaction under the same privacy protections.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction:

  • All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher.
  • Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256.
  • Access to production systems is restricted by role-based access controls and multi-factor authentication.
  • We conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you have reason to believe your interaction with us has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

6. Cookies

Our site uses a minimal set of cookies:

  • Essential cookies— required for the site to function (session management, security tokens). These cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.
  • Analytics cookies— we use privacy-focused analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. These are only set with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via your browser settings.

We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies. You can manage or block cookies in your browser preferences at any time.
